Decisions are made everyday, many times a day within organisations. The quality of those decisions are determined in part by how we approach them.
To be wise, “having or showing experience, knowledge, and good judgment”.
As directors, leaders, governance, risk and compliance professionals, we make judgements everyday.
We consider the information placed before us and use our experiences and those of others around us to make decisions, decisions that affect the direction, pace and fortitude of our businesses.
These decisions have impact, influence and attribution, sometimes with and sometimes without relative permanence.
Each decision is a fork in the road. This way, or that way.
Are we making good decisions?
Are we following the road of the wise? “Route des sages”.
